The Advertising Information Group (AIG) is a pan European advertising and media industry network that brings together different parts of the advertising industry: from advertising agencies, broadcaster and publisher bodies, direct marketing, to radio and online.

About AIG

The Advertising Information Group (AIG) is a European grouping of national advertising tripartites (representing advertisers, advertising agencies and the media), as well as several Brussels-based trade bodies that represent ad agencies, broadcasters, publisher, direct marketing, and online advertising.

Sie setzt sich für einen Binnenmarkt für kommerzielle Kommunikation ein, unterstützt eine verantwortungsvolle Selbstregulierung der Werbung in der EU und ist Mitglied der europäischen Selbstregulierungsorganisation der Werbebranche, der European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA).

The secretariat of the AIG, is formed from three national advertising associations, namely: the Advertising Association in UK, Zentralverband der deutschen Werbewirtschaft (ZAW) in Deutschland und die Wirtschaftskammer Österreich (WKÖ) in Österreich. 

We regularly meet to discuss policy issues relevant to advertising.

What we do

In addition to advocating for a responsible and sustainable advertising industry in Europe, AIG also holds regular discussion forums, both in Brussels and virtually, and publishes a bi-weekly newsletter for AIG exchange partners which details and analyses legislative and political developments affecting all aspects of commercial communications in Europe.
